Financial Controller | Central London / Hybrid working | PE Backed Environment | £70 - 80k + Bonus A dynamic and forward-thinking business headquartered in Central London is seeking an experienced and technically strong Financial Controller to join its senior leadership team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to lead a small finance function within a PE backed environment, playing a key role in driving financial strategy, ensuring compliance, and supporting commercial decision making at board level. Key Responsibilities: Full ownership of financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting Overseeing statutory accounts, tax compliance, and audit coordination Leading and developing a small, high performing finance team Collaborating with stakeholders across the business to provide actionable insights Ensuring strong internal controls and process improvements Managing payroll oversight and compliance with regulatory requirements Driving continuous improvement of systems and reporting tools About You: Professionally qualified (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with a solid foundation in technical accounting Proven experience in a senior finance role, ideally as a Financial Controller Background in accounting practice or structured graduate finance program Experience within a B2B services environment is preferred Comfortable managing P&L responsibility for businesses with £10m+ turnover Detail driven and hands-on, with a collaborative approach to team leadership Strong communicator, confident engaging with both finance and non-finance stakeholders Commercially astute, proactive, and solution focused Demonstrates consistency and longevity in previous roles Technically adept, with solid systems knowledge - experience with Sage, Xero, or QuickBooks is a plus Ideally experienced within a PE backed or high growth business environment What’s on Offer: Competitive base salary: £70,000 - £80,000 + 15% bonus Life Insurance cover Central London location with hybrid working High visibility role with exposure to C-suite and PE stakeholders Opportunity to shape the finance function during an exciting growth phase If you're a hands-on finance professional looking to make an impact in a growing and fast paced environment, we’d love to hear from you.
